Larry Chatoo

Parent of Kindergartener and 2nd grader

Our children participated in numerous camps over the summer, and Lola’s Laboratory is by far the best!  In addition to offering new and amazing creative programs, we love that the staff Lola hires to assist are just as fun and enthusiastic about interacting with the kids and ensuring a great time is had by all.

“Thanks again for making this spring break camp opportunity available.  Ethan had a great time all week. When I visited the camp “State Fair” today, I was really blown away by all of the great work the kids had done.  Everyone was having such a wonderful time.  I think one of the really cool things was how much responsibility each kid had.  I was amazed at how even the youngest kids were taking tickets, running the games and handing out prizes.  What a great environment you, your staff, and the kids created!  I also want to say a special thanks to the staff/camp counselors.  Neat does not even begin to describe their backgrounds, personalities and interaction with the kids! We look forward to returning to many more camps in the future.”

Assistant Principal, Nottingham Elementary School

Lola,  thanks for your support of the PTA and for running such great camps!
You have been a great guest. The kids are well supervised, well behaved and you are respectful of our space and of our staff. It is a well organized program and we look forward to working with you again next year.

"Lucy really enjoyed camp this summer, at Mystery Mania! I loved the different art projects she brought home—it really seemed like she got the chance to use her own imagination to create things within the framework that was given! She was totally engaged with the mystery. The characters seemed really fun, she couldn’t wait to go everyday and I enjoyed hearing the different installments of the story myself in the emails."

Mom of a 9 year old camper. Janet shared this quote about us in a letter to her co-workers. (She is the Executive Director of the Association of Children’s Museums.)

“What’s really amazing is the educational story that is woven through everything Lola does. The staff  so engaged in the project, the kids, the parents.  My 9 year old just finished a camp with Lola and it’s by far the best camp experience she has ever had... and the space was just an elementary school--but Lola is able to transport these kids to other places, through her amazing original stories, information, projects, etc.”
